Boscamping Zwanemeer in Gieten is a perfect family campsite. The campsite has spacious, sheltered camping places. You will find a playground with a number of games for children to play on each camping field. Here the kids can play to their hearts content while you keep an eye on things.
All the camping places are provided with 6 amp electricity. In addition there are 95 camping places connected to water/drains, and equipped for cable television.
The camping places are suitable for both a tent, caravan or camper. Because Boscamping Zwanemeer regards safety as a top priority, all the camping fields of car-free.
Geocaching in Drenthe
The nature around Camping Zwanemeer is full of geocaches. These prizes, that are sought and have to be found during geocaching, are calling out invitingly to you! Join in the hunt and discover the environment around our campsite in a fun way. At the reception we will be happy to tell you more about this challenging treasure hunt.
Boscamping Zwanemeer is also very centrally situated in relation to the large towns. With your car you will arrive in no time in Assen, Emmen, Groningen and Veendam. Each and every one of them attractive, cultural and friendly places.
Extensive facilities for young and old
Boscamping Zwanemeer is not without reason a real family campsite. There is children's play apparatus on a number of camping fields. In addition there is a large play area situated at the centre of the campsite. Amongst other things, this includes a spectacular air trampoline and a climbing frame.
In the high season there is a leisure team present, which organises a lot of fun activities. Examples of this are creative play afternoons, designing, building and launching your own rocket, and playback shows.
As a guest of Boscamping Zwanemeer you have free access to the neighbouring swimming pool. This heated open-air swimming pool has, amongst other things, a family section, a swimming pool for competitions, and a toddlers pool.
Naturally there are good sanitary facilities and they are kept in excellent condition. In the toilet building, besides the usual showers, toilets and washbasins, there are also baby changing rooms and children's and family showers.
